ToBank — regulated banking super-app

Led mobile delivery for a 1M+ user regulated banking platform, owning trust-sensitive identity, signing, and lending workflows.

ToBank / GardeshPay is a banking super-app, not a narrow feature app: virtual-branch banking, BPMS-driven process automation, deposits, cards, card-to-card, payments, lending, promissory notes, customer club, and acceptor flows.

Security & trust ownership

  • Client-side PKI: RSA key generation, local CSR construction (ASN.1) and native private-key signing, certificate issuance and renewal.
  • Secure request pipeline: signed bodies, digital-signature headers, token authorization, and VPN/device-security enforcement at the request layer.
  • End-to-end encrypted cheque flows to Shaparak using hybrid RSA/AES secure-envelope cryptography (AES-CBC key/IV, RSA-OAEP SHA-256 wrapping).
  • Native plugins across Kotlin and Swift: ZoomID eKYC, secure signing, protected-data checks, ML card scanner.

Architecture & product

  • Centralized the API client and secure-request layer — ~18.5% app code-footprint reduction overall, ~70% in the service layer.
  • Certificate-backed PDF signing with stamp placement and customer/date detail.
  • Drove the electronic promissory-note product end to end — regulatory analysis → PRD → UAT → release — enabling collateral reuse across lending and B2B partner flows.
